What does NFC mean?
NFC Digital Business Cards are modern, eco-friendly alternatives to traditional paper business cards. They use Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to share your contact information quickly and easily with just a tap. Most modern smart phones have built in NFC readers and are enabled by default.
What if I come across a phone which can’t read NFC?
Here you have 2 options.
- Enable NFC in the settings on the device
- Scan the QR Code which is printed on the card
So what is a KNEKT.me digital business card?
KNEKT.me uses the NFC technology in the business card to point the reader to our web app. This displays your profile details on the recipient’s device, which can be stored to their contacts, without any typing.
Can I change the information on my profile on the KNEKT.me web app?
Yes you can. Your public profile is quickly and easily editable from within the web app. Just click on the “Edit My Card” option on the menu. You can upload your profile picture here too.
What if I lose or break my NFC digital business card.
Replacement cards are available to purchase at just £10 each. Please CONTACT US for a replacement
What are the costs involved?
Your initial purchase is £30 which includes your NFC digital business card and your first year subscription to our web app. Subsequent years are priced at just £12.
Do you have a referal program?
Yes, if someone joins KNEKT.me directly from your profile, you will earn a £1 Amazon voucher. These can only be redeemed when they reach £10.
What are the current functions on the KNEKT.me web app profile pages?
In the web app, the recipient can download the details from your public profile into a contact on their mobile phone. They can also find links to up to 3 web pages which you have populated. This could be your business website, online shop, Google Review page, TrustPilot or whatever web page you have chosen to use. There is also the facility to populate your profile with links to your Social Media profiles. If you want to write a short paragraph about what you are currently doing, you can put this on your profile at the bottom so that people have current, up to date information about you.
KNEKT TEXT: 10 free text credits are provided free of charge for each new user. You are able to send texts to people with your business name in the “From” field (subject to a maximum of 11 characters) instead of a mobile number. Further credits can be purchased directly from within the web app.
KNEKT DELEGATES: If you run meetings and want to record the details of all the attending delegates, this tool will be of use to you. Ask delegates to scan a QR code and enter their details. These details could be displayed on a screen for all delegates to see. At the end of the event, all delegates details can be distributed to all attendees by email. The KNEKT DELEGATES tool is free to use and can be accessed from within the web app.
Is the data on my profile safe?
You are responsible for all the data you put on to your online profile. All the information is public.
I run a team, can I manage multiple profiles?
Yes you can, you can become an admin for the profile of each of your team. Your team will also have access if required.
